Testimonial

Michael worked for me as Holiday Cove South’s President and my Board of Directors for 18 months, and then under President Rick Baldwin for an additional 12 months as our LCAM Manager.
If you are considering hiring Michael, please read my endorsement.
Michael is a very quick learner. He has been involved with numerous business ventures, which allows him to quickly understand the nuts and bolts of any operation. The beauty of having Michael on board is his ability to see businesses in a big-picture format. He quickly starts to envision processes and strategies that will improve operations. Michael is a turnaround artist who thrives under pressure and is fast on his feet.
Michael is a no-nonsense person when it comes to business, but he is also a caring and compassionate human being. I enjoyed my time with Michael, both from a business standpoint and as a personal friend. Michael joined Holiday Cove South (a condominium on the ocean) as our LCAM Manager. During his tenure, we faced two hurricanes that required significant preventative measures and the management of the aftermath, including addressing immediate issues.
We also engaged in heavy negotiations with our insurance companies. With Michael’s wisdom and experience, we were able to secure a decent settlement from Citizens Insurance when there initially seemed to be no options. Following the storms, we undertook major renovations to address storm damage and the general maintenance of our buildings. Michael managed these projects while continuing to oversee our day-to-day operations—a workload that would have overwhelmed most.
Michael shines in chaotic situations. He had all the quotes and contracts prepared and managed the implementation with efficiency. Contractors enjoyed working with Michael, and he oversaw every project from start to finish. His work was outstanding.
As our Association’s LCAM Manager, and with his wife Candy as our Rental Company Manager, Michael and Candy were the best management team Holiday Cove ever had. You may be wondering why we would let them leave. After navigating 2 ½ challenging years that included three hurricanes, two restoration projects, and the prospect of working with a brand-new Board of Directors, both Michael and Candy felt their job had reached its natural conclusion.
We will miss them greatly. If you bring Michael onto your team, I promise you will have no regrets. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need further information.
Sincerely, Mike Hevener mike.hevener@sflpotatoes.com
